1976 stingray with built l48 needs repaint but solid driver . wondering value. thanks
here is pic
Value would be impossible to determine unless someone actually looked at the car in person.
just looking for ballpark. good drive train body all there with original interior in good shape.
1976 average worth is $9,000. A showroom quality, low mileage 1976 has an asking price of $23,000. If it is all stock, poor paint, but good to average mechanical and interior, you're looking between $4500 to $8500 depending on what all needs to be done. Poor paint, which can cost up to $10,00 for a good paint job, will add maybe $2,000 to the car. Like a house, don't add new carpets before selling, lit the new wife pick out what she wants. Discount the house to allow for her to do it, but don't discount the price of a pint job on the Corvette. When I painted my Corvette in 2002 with a GM color/paint, just the pant was $1,000. Nothing special, but it was the 25th Pontiac Grand Prix anniversary fire mist red. Still looks great.
