I also have Allion 260 with the same issue. it began few months back in 44000 km. I talked to Sri Lanka Toyota, they said it is a commn issue even it was found in 2014 Januar Car. they said problem is shown solenoid but cant replace solenoid only. you have to change compressor as a whoke which will cost LKR 250K. they said some one changed solenoid from out side but didnt solve the problem. better live with the problem. i didnt do anything but it is difficuly in long journy.

Nothing wrong with the compression, if the compression is not working you would not get the AC at all only the blowers. There is this valve called DUTY CUT OFF VALVE, try changing it. It really works, and service your AC, the valve will cost about 11000RS.

Yes Pratharshan, It worked. I replaced AC compressor control valve along with condenser filter and refill the gas three months ago. so far I have no complain. Before I commit to the work I got to know that for some cases valve replacement was ok and for some it didn't solve, they changed the compressor again to fix it. AC repair shops know this. i made a deal that if valve change doesn't fix I will replace the compressor provided deduct the price of the valve. that was safe for me. fortunately valve changed fixed the problem and it cost me around 16000. You might find a secondhand compressor for 30-40K

I had the same AC issue on my 2011 260 Allion and my AC technician Tharaka at Battaramulla replaced the solenoid valve for 12k one year back. It worked well for 20000km. Shall replace it again as per him now as i get the same issue on and off.

I am facing that some times AC does not cool my Allion NZT-260 2010 car at 47000 km. One of my ME engineer friend who has automobile workshop tested the car system using console kit and said compressor pressure is okay but one of sensors is problematic. He ensured me it will be resolved after changing the sensor.

this problem only can be solved by changing magnetic type of compressor along with a/c belt because said compressor pulley dia. is different.also suction n discharge pipe mouth to be modified.

Hi, I have the same issue on my 2010 Allion 260. After replacing it with a number of variable displacement compressors and their continuous failures, I opted to go with a fixed displacement compressor from a Corolla 121. I have been using it for two months now and have had no issues. Fuel economy has stayed the same as far as I'm concerned. On the compressor swap, please note you will need to change the drive belt from a 4PK1210 to a 4PK1170 as the pulley on the compressor is different. Further new wiring will be required for the compressor clutch as it is not recommended to be directly plugged into the wiring harness and the AC lines will need to be slightly altered as well. I got it done at Freeze Zone in Mirihana.

HI Guys, I'm going to buy Toyota Allion 2010 vehicle, How to find a car which does not have this A/C problem? (It is looks like very pain full this A/C problem)

When you add magnetic compressor your fuel consumption will go high. Do not modify. Try changing valve and see before replacing the compressor

My alion also had a problem and compressor had to be replaced. I got it replaced with a reconditioned one at Mistair Dehiwala and so far working well. Reasonable charges.
