I have a 2006 Sebring Conv. I want to know if the console should come with a light bulb to light the shift info.?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently had the car serviced and discovered that when I wanted what I thought was a
burned out bulb replaced, no light bulb or socket was present.

It should. Unfortunately, however, most newer vehicles do not have replaceable bulbs. Check your owner's manual or local auto parts store and see if they have a listing for a bulb in that location. As an example, if a bulb burns out in the instrument cluster, the whole cluster usually has to be replaced. HTH. -Jim
