I have a 2008 sebring the temperature gage is staying on the C and theirs no heat anybody know what is wrong?

The car is still running fine the outside temp was -27C

The temp sensor itself or the wiring is compromised, and if there is no indication of an actually temperature reading from the sensor, the heat or HVAC system will not work correctly.
