"thunk" is coming from my front end when i hit big bumps.
I had the same problem and i replaced them today and the sound is gone and much smoother ride as well. The dealer did it and it cost around $100 CAD
got the sway bar bushings for $20 and did the work myself. no more noise
At 32058 miles I had the same problem, had to replace the left outer tierod and left strut.
in the 300 charger and magnum are all known for the tierods goin bad,jus got mine done at 123000
tie rods are what the stealership says needs to be replaced. it does take away the "thunk" when its done but a simple $20 replacement of the sway bar bushings does the job. tie rods last much longer than most think.
I have replaced both struts, inner and outer tire rods, sway bar link and the sway bar bushings. I still have the clunking when I hit bumps. Feels like the wheel is going to come off. What am I missing?
