My 2005 range rover hse on the message board it said the transaction is over heating why would it over heat abd how would I fix this problem

Do you mean transmission? It could be a couple of things. Low transmission fluid or the transmission fluid cooler is plugged up. What ever it is, get it fixed and then sell that money pit. This is just the beginning.
