The year would help. Check for fuel pressure, check for good spark.

it is a 2001 on lights come on in the dash when this happens no sign that any thing is wrong all gauges show everything ok

Do you hear the fuel pump run briefly when you first turn the key on? Does the check engine light come on and stay on or will it go out after about 30 seconds?

Good the fuel pump runs, so now you need to have the codes checked as the check light is on so you have a hard fault in the system, I am going to guess it is a crank sensor but without the code I can't say for sure.

It sounds like it could be your timing or a bad spark.
