I have a 98 gmc serria with the 5.7 (350) small block and I like the 4l60e but it's time to replace it the truck has over 300,000 miles and I was looking at a carb 350 4 bolt main that will bold right up and I wanted to keep the 4l60e I was wondering is there a way to bypass the computer and still keep the transmission?
I know there is a way but not sure on the details on how to do it. It has ben done. Maybe Google it on how too.
