Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does anyone know where this connector goes? I don't know how long it's
been unplugged and can't figure out where it goes.

The only thing that shows in my Chilton's manual with a dark blue wire and a purple wire is the connector for an auxiliary gas tank. If you don't have two gas tanks, it's just an instance where they used the same wiring harness for a truck with either a single tank or one with double tanks, leaving the connector as a useless connector on a truck with a single tank. If my wild guess is right, then the other ends should be connected to the fuel pump module. I ain't a mechanic, just looking over the wiring diagrams in my Chilton's to try and discover a problem with my 94 sierra wiring which is different from a 96 or later model. Like I said, just an unprofessional guess.
