Question type: Maintenance & Repair

was told it may be carb issues but I did just
rebuild it (the carb) and before I did so I
soaked it in carb cleaner over night as was
suggested so I really don't know what could
be wrong with the carb at this point

OK so my 77 GMC k1500 with a 350 engine 750 cfm starts fine does fine when put in gear starts to move a little on its own even however if I am not extremely extremely light footed with the accelerator it sputters and dies however once it is move at a decent pace I can give it as much throttle as I want with no issues. Any ideas guys sorry for some reason it cut off my question midway thru
