NO SPARK 305 ENGINE
I'd take a coarse wirebrush to the end of the 1/0 battery cable...not the clamp end, but the one that bolts to the chassis/frame...this is an IMPORTANT one as it serves both the starter and the ignition...and the computer....and the fuel pump....gets corroded with multiple starts...over time through the "blue welding" between lug and chassis occurs a layer of corrosion forms and plays hell with it's varying voltages and varying amperages....Get a NEW battery as these new tin/antimony alloy jobs will not last but five years before they begin taking a charge putting undo pressure on the alternator....bakin' the alternator~
you NEVER said what year, but the advise stands regardless~ GET some SOLID ground on THAT~
