Power steering and brakes not working right

1994 F450 7.3 Diesel NA power steering not working brakes have to be stood on to stop. Causes?
Corelation? repair solutions?

Your brakes are boosted by the power steering pump. Check the power steering fluid level, air in the system, hoses for leaks and cracks and or the power steering pump failure itself.
