Car Shakes

Asked by Brandy Jul 18, 2016 at 12:25 PM about the 2005 Ford Focus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Ford Focus and feels like the
front drivers side tore shakes when going
between 50-60 I just had both hub
assembly's replaced so not quite sure
what it may be! I don't have money to take
to shop to find out what's wrong at this
point in time just trying to get a idea of
what it may be.

It may be a tire out of balance. Find a local tire shop and ask them to do a spin balance on them. (you'll find prices are much more reasonable at a real mechanic's garage versus those chain stores). Between 50-60 MPH seems to be the magic number for noticing an out-of-balance tire.
