My car, a Peugeot 207, 2007, has been diagnosed as having a faulty crank sensor. Can I still rollstart it?

doubtful if it will start- I guess it is a manual tranny? Haven't you tried it? Just have it towed and give the guy who diagnosed it a handful of silver- that's how the world turns-
