Sounds like a misfire under load condition. Since your Corsica is a '94 model it is OBD I and won't set a code or cause the "check engine" light to come on. A tune-up (new spark plugs and spark plug wires) will most likely solve this issue. Especially if it has over 100,000 miles on it. Tune-ups need to be done every 100,000 miles on these cars.
