Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If there are tons of screws & Panels to remove 1st, would it hurt anything to just splice
edges with a Utility Knife for quick carpet removal?

You would need to remove all interior trim pieces and seating to remove it in one piece and replace with a new one. If you don't mind hacking it up, sure, get the knife out and start cutting.

Does anyone know if there are any kinds of wires, or anything that could be hurt by cutting the carpet out of the car? ( It has stains that will not come out, & the car is too old to replace it with new carpet )
