HJ/HX 1-Tonner

Asked by SteveH Mar 17, 2010 at 04:56 AM about the 1976 Holden Kingswood

Question type: General

The original 1-Tonners all have the same HQ style front, what cosmetic differences are there between say the HJ and HX 1-Tonner?

The commercial front end used on all one tonners except WB is the HQ style, standard model front ends were available on all one tonners but the HQ front end was the base model. Except for different dash and instumentation all models were the same although interior upgrades were available for trim, carpet, air-con. The only difference cosmetically betwthe HJ and HX is the grille, the HJ has horozontal pattern and the HX has a small square pattern. There are plenty of other differences between all the models, but there's not enough space to write them all. Hope Iv'e helped answer you question. Mark
