Question type: Maintenance & Repair

so it's an '06
X-trail
Apparantly the rear strut is leaking, boot is torn, driver rear cv inner boot torn. ... so
they're ordering left rear axle boot 3.9 ($600), and right rear strut and boot 1.7 ($510)

SEEMS A BIT EXPENSIVE TO ME.. ANY ONE ORDER THIS STUFF BEFORE?

Are you going to the dealer for the repair? The Nissan dealer will always be more expensive. Find a local independent garage that can source the parts, and maybe even use OE parts vs OEM. Labor costs might even be cheaper too.
