Where is the thermoostate on 1996 Lumina 6 cylinder?

follow top raitor hose to engine,will stop at goseneck thermo is under remove 2 or 3 bolts

If that's the 3.1, I believe you may have to remove the intake manifold to access it -- It was something like that on my '96 Monte Carlo with the 3.4.
