on and jump starter it starts right up RU s three seconds and gets shut down help
Well, it sounds like an alternator problem and battery problem. The alternator has to provide a charge to the engine to keep it running. So, when you said you got it to turn over with the jumy start, but, it quit soon after, it tells me that the alternator is not providing enough electrical current to the motor to keep it running. Probably have to replace both of these together. A garage or even the AAA can do a load test and tell you immediately. Do you have AAA roadside service? AAA sells batteries right on the spot at your house and guarantees them for 3 years. They're quite good batteries. Good luck.
By the way, the alternator charges up your battery whIle you drive as well as providing electrical current necessary for the engine to run properly, so, since the alternator failed, that's why your battery is dead.
