I know its not fuel pump...because i hear it hum when i turn ignition.Could it be spark plugs and wires?Or distributor modulator? I know its sumthing simple....please help
yeah, the motor saw the cap was off and couldn't put correct pressure to the injectors, so it died.
You may have choked the system by overfilling and making the charcoal canister dysfunctional.
It can't breathe. the charcoal canister is logged with gasoline-
Moral to this story: Always turn off your car while filling up your tank :)
The cap has nothing to do with the pump and injectors. The cap is emissions related. Sounds like the sediment while filling up got displaced and clogged the pumps sock while running.
