I Meen the number 6pointer emeded in the lower part of distributer case don't pay attention to it and set rotor on number 1

Help please do I set timing on the number six point indicator in bed on the distributor
casing or do I said it right at number one where do I set the rotor on number one help
I'm getting desperate here answers

ignition timing isnt adjustable on the vortec motors 96+
