I have a chevy malibu 97 and ive notice
lately a strong gas smell but there was no
leak.. Today ive notice puddles of gas thats
dripping from under my car. I had somebody
look under and tell me what they think it
might be. They said that its the top tube to
my gas hos. Its a small leak. I just want to
know if this is something serious to were i
cant drive the car anymore until problem is
solved because i have a 2 year old i drive to
day care before i work everyday.. And i dont
want to put my child in a dangerous
situation. Someone help please..
Any fuel leak is dangerous and requires immediate attention, gas fumes drift and can be ignited many feet away, so don't take a chance with yours or your child well being, quit driving the car until you can get ti fixed, if necessary, rent a car while your is in the shop, some shops have rentals that are at a reduced rate if they are working on your car, check it out, it would be a lot safer for both of you.
