My 89 ford festiva L the car starts fine runs fine except when I go to take off it starts to hesitate likes it not getting any fuel change plugs wires fuel filter it hesitates in 1 and second gear

One I get going its runs okay but you can
still feel a hesitation in it wondering if
fuel pump is going bad

I would run a fuel pressure and flow test, replace the pump if low, if the pump passes the test then you may have a TPS in early failure, the only way to find this is getting a live data test performed, you can see the readings the sensors are sending to the ECM and replace those out of specs.

could have a burnt valve, need to do a compression test.
