I put a computer device on car and its showing  map/baro high. What is this?

The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor measures intake manifold vacuum and converts the vacuum signal to an electronic signal for the computer. In the old days it was called a BARO (Barometric) sensor. Same sensor, different name. HTH. -Jim
