where is the heater core located?

We are trying to replace the heater core in our blazer and have taken the whole dash apart and still haven't seen the core where is it located?

Here is a link to the description of a heater core and what it looks like http://www.drivewire.com/chevyparts/heatercore.html. It should be in the middle of the dashboard. Good luck.

it's inside the heater box ,you don't need to take apart the whole dash.
