They say the engine pressure blew out a spark plug on 2008 KIA spectra. Dented the hood of the car and ruined the engine. $3200 repair? Insights?

It happens to Fords too. That does sound very expensive though. Just fixing a stripped hole might be a couple of hundred but not that much. What else happened to the engine other than the spark plug?
