fuse blows for parking lights
my fuse for the parking lights blew, and now the dash lights dont work, taillights and parking lights all dont work? where should i go first?
That is usually a safety feature built in to most NA automobiles. If a short should occur in the rear wiring to the tail or stop lights, the fuse will blow and take out the dash lights to make the problem known to the driver. Check your rear grounds, bulb sockets, and wire harness for abrasions to the wires and then install a new fuse.
i looked under the hood and could not find a fuse for the parking lights and none of my fuses were blown. where is the parking light fuse?
It would be on the fuse block. I have a '99 and it's #9 20A. Mine just started doing this too.
