I overheated my chevy lumina and now it won't start

I drove my chevy lumina from Texas to Californi over heated it and  when I turned it off  
no itwont start

How long did you drive with the light on? I'd say it's time for an engine rebuild.

check your compression. you may very well have ruined it.
