I have a 84 Cutlass Supreme Mustang
column is extra loose and now the car won't
start what's the problem

Most likely the ignition coils, wiring, or switch has become loose, worn, or damaged. I would take the column apart (which should be easy since its pre-airbag module) and make sure all of the ignition wiring is still intact and tight. Let me know if you need more help and best of luck!
