Question type: General

I have a 2001 Chevy venture. I just got a
brand new starter a month ago all the lights
come on. When I go to start the engine
absolutely nothing happens except for the
lights. I went underneath the car checked
the fuel pump and the connector for any
corrosion I also checked battery for any
corrosion I am stumped.

Battery voltage? Starter relay good? Any blown fuses? How much resistance on battery cables?

Most likely it's loose or corroded battery cables but they're all good including ground, check voltage at the starter small terminal when someone tries to start it. If voltage (minimum 12.4vdc)is present then the starter is bad and should be under warranty. If no voltage present, trace back to relay, neutral switch or ignition switch
