I have notice on my 1972 cutlass that when I stop my fuel filter bubbles like there is air in the line and don't stay filled with guys. Anyone have a clue whats going on

gas filter is bubbling like there is air in my gas line anybody have suggestions

You may have a leak on the suction side of the fuel pump. That is, the fuel line coming from the tank to the pump. Or it could be the fuel line is getting too hot and the gasoline is boiling. I'm assuming this is an aftermarket fuel filter set up as well. Glass bowl type filter housings are not used after 1967. If your Olds has air conditioning there's supposed to be a fuel return line that goes back to the gas tank. Either at the filter assembly or the fuel pump. HTH. -Jim
