the connection from the 1/0 cable to the chassis/frame is an important one...What most people do not know is that that amount of amperage will burn/weld itself in place...now we've already got an extra layer of burnt residue...actually creating a "brown out" condition...all because the auto makers in their infinite wisdom thought it would be a good Idea to piggy-back this critical function of the ECU onto the non-critical pull of 300 amps or so~ You need amperage....battery...knock off labels on the top will tell you the date of it's first charge...batteries are not made of LEAD anymore it is a tin/antimony alloy...so after five years will not be taking a charge anymore....after ten it is dead and will make your alternator overheat~....clean your ground....get a new battery...you will be okay then~
