my 2008 HYUNDAI VERACRUZ GEAR JUMPS TO THE THIRD GEAR AND DOESNT CHANGE ENGINE LIGHT WILL COME ON, RESTARITNG THE CAR THE PROBLEM DISAPEAR? PLEASE HELP ME

perhaps the vacuum operated control has it's control line comprimized? have to teach myself the ways of your hyundai to speak of it's vacuum modulator with any authority...anyways, do check the transmission fluid level, with it running appearing red and smelling fresh between the two hash marks perhaps a knurled block of acceptance there-
