starting problem - please help

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car runs fine.  Won't start unless alittle gas is poured in carb?  Then it will start all day, and maybe it will start the next day...maybe?  more than likely it won't???  Please help!

it might be time for a carb rebuild. The kits are inexpensive & you can probably do it yourself in a couple hours. I would look at the fuel line check valve and also check the bowl to make sure it has gas. if the bowl is empty or low you gas is either running back to the tank or evaporating.

why fusy keeps blowing cant even put one in a 2000 mercury cougar and got put gas in carb to run why need help
