Car setting for several years. Got battery to the glove box and power convertible top but no juioce to the ignition switch or dash?Help.

check the wiring from the fuse panel to the switch or could be a relay. Or because it has sat for a while mice/rodents might of chewed you wiring

Agreed, sounds like you had some small invaders. Check the wiring thoroughly.
