I have 1978 cadillac coupe my car won't shift after adding Lucas transmission oil

I added Lucas transmission oil stop leak and now my caddy won't shift gear from first

How was the transmission before you added the Lucas? Just leaking?

so, you put in something you should not have- are you wondering what to do now? do a tranny service- drain the oil, change the filter, put in the factory recommended lubricant and hope for the best-
