1970 buick riviera. Having a hard time finding a fuel sending unit

does anyone know of a sending unit that will work direct fit

I don't know of any direct fit, if you can't find a stock unit you might try a search for rebuilders of fuel senders or try using a universal sender, you may have to add resistors to get the gauge to respond to the sweep from full to empty.
