How many miles should a trailblazer or any SUV get? I want to buy one and it already has 212,000 miles on it.

There are no specific miles that a vehicle will last. If it's been maintained and you know what it needs to get it inspected and roadworthy and a good price, go for it. But you know going into the deal, but keep in mind that anything can break or go wrong at anytime. But that's true for any vehicle.

it all depends on how the vehicle was driven & taken care of. 200000 + miles is alot for a 2003 . you're looking (if it hasn't been done already) at a timing chain and transmission, if you see smoke out the exhaust then maybe a new engine.

Recently sold my car with 272k, should have keeped it. I miss it. Most taxicab companies run them up to 500k.

I have a friend that is at 297,000 on his trailblazer. He is going for the 300,000 mile mark for his $3000 from Quaker State.

My 2008 ENVOY has 280,000 and has only needed 2 water pumps. Still running great! Going to drive the wheels off! and then just buy new ones! Mostly city miles too. With only moderate maintenance.

I am also curious about the highest mileage on a trailblazer. I have a 2004 LS with 216,000 miles on original engine and transmission. No major problems, just regular maintenance.

The Vortec engine was one of the best designed engines and won awards for it. If you take care of it, it will last you a long long long time.

I just looked at a 2001 Chevy trail blazer and it has 231, 567 miles and the service 4wd light is on. The private owner want 700 for it. Should I buy it or not

Can someone please help a lady out on my question

I have a 2003 and my service 4WD light came on and it was just the transfer motor for the 4WD! Easy fix and price wasn’t bad either!

There was no Trailblazer in 2001 it would have been an S10 Blazer they are two totally different vehicles. Although I think in 2001 the Trailblazer was a trim package on the S10 Blazer. It can get pretty confusing.
