Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My chrysler sebring began honking on its own very
randomly, doesnt matter if it on or off, parked or
running.. how can I get this fixed? Will it require to
have the horn or aby part replaced?? Any help will
be appreciated.

more than likely the horn button on the steering wheel- not really a button anymore, but the problem is the same- the switch inside the wheel must be able to make contact wherever the steering wheel is positioned- they often fail with time- and because of the airbag, you don't want to try to fix it yourself-

U will have to pull the fuse which is inside the car on dvr side. Unfortunatly this also shuts off ur airbag. I looked this up on the government recall site. This is very common and chrysler refuses to issue a recall and have it fixed.
