My car shuts down randomly and the oil engine light goes off. No engine light. The horn goes on and off by itself. It all started after I drove on a bumping road.

If no one has noticed when you reconnect the battery the horn beeps well more than likely you're having a problem with a short to the pounds positive or negative that would be my first approach
