Check for a stuck servo motor on the blend doors or even a broken blend door in the heater box.

Thanks. I suspected that as well. I noticed from forums that this is a common problem in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and can be fixed via glove box without removing whole dash but, do you have any idea if this would be possible on my 08 Jeep Liberty??

From the few people I've talked too it seems like your in for a dash removal to gain access to the heater box. Sorry

Flushed out heater core with air and water (together). 80% improvement. Good luck!

Had the same problem, lost heat on driver side in 2017, jeep liberty 2009. I had the heater core cleaned by professional radiator shop. 95$ and now burning heat both sides. Exactly like a new. I will have it cleaned every 3 years.
