Need to locate the fuse that controls my trailer running lights on my 2008 F 350 Diesel
sounds like the plugin may be your problem,if it had a blown fuse nothing would work.
Thanks for the reply but on another site I got my answer-- is was Fuse #42 under the hood. I changed it and now my running lights also work. But again thanks for the reply. I knew it must have been a fuse because when I connected the trailer to my sons truck all the lights worked including the running, but on mine only the brake and signal lights worked.
glad you got it fixed,
hey there i was gonna ask the same question but before i did that i read replys below and i believe i got answer to my question thanks all. IBO MUSA TRUCKING,LLC
I hade the same problem and the fues is good but all my lights work on the truck but I still can get the running lights to work on the trailer when its hooked up but my brakes and blinkers work when the trailer is hooked up just no running lights
but I have a 2011 ford 350 super duty
Mine was same #42 30 amp cube fuse idk why it blew was able to piece together for running lights . wish Ford would label the fuse cover.
Thanks by the way your question answer saved the night. It's nice to have brake & turn lights at least but sucks looking back in dark an seeing a trailer with no lights on.
2011 F 350 HAS NO POWER AT 7 WIRE PLUG IN FOR TRAILER BRAKES. I HAVE ALL LIGHTS AND PU SHOWS NO TRAILER CONNECTED.
There's a cold air intake where the fuse box is suppose to be, and I can't find it. Welp
