Need to replace the clock spring 04 suburban
First off, be sure that it IS the SPS (Steering Position Sensor) throwing the code and not a bad wheel speed sensor or ABS module (waaay more common on these). Next, take it to the dealer because this can't safely or properly done by yourself if you've never disarmed an airbag, its not something to try without help from someone who's done it. I know, I know, I hate it as much as you do, but the sensor also needs GM software to relearn its position on the shaft or the Stabilitrak can get confused not knowing where its position is which can cause an accident.
Thanks...It is headed for the shop.
