Could be a number of things. You may need a tune-up (over 100,000 miles), retarded (late) valve timing from a jumped timing chain or timing belt, overheating, brakes dragging, transmission trouble, clogged fuel filter, bad knock sensor, faulty fuel injectors, or a failing fuel pump. HTH. -Jim
