chevy cavalier clutch

ok had fluid leaking ,lost the clutch mostly ,replaced clutch master cyilander now cant get it to pump up.tryed  a couple of time got some then lost it agin can some one tell me what is going on please.

make sure the vehicle is jacked up in the front, second make sure the rod from the slave cylinder is positioned correctly
