My chevrolet cobalt 2005 goes up to 201 or more when am driving long distance but when am in traffic it goes down to 178, is this normal
Yes. If you mean it's running with the coolant at 201 degrees, that's fine, matter of fact a tad on the cool side
Yep nothing immediately wrong, could be a thermostat in the very early stages of sticking open. Have you ever changed the thermostat?
