What happens when a gem computer starts to go
out my gauges and all dash lights go crazy and the
radio cuts off and head lights flicker had alternator
checked and battery checked and all checked fine
also no crozzin around the wires
Check the BCM (Body Control Module) Are you getting any codes
GEM is a generic electronic module, you don't want to waste your time and money replacing the wrong module. It might be a BCM like Irod mentioned or a GEM. Some modules like the BCM require encoding for VIN, mileage, and possibly antitheft. Sometimes they don't need to be replaced but just reflashed. May want to farm this out to a good shop or the dealership.
Irodr911,has a point, check for code,s,and if there are not any,you may need to start checking for bad wiring that is causing your issue.
