I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 and plan to keep it for at least 10 more years. The brakes have been replaced/turned rotors from usual wear. Should I Get new rotors ?

Are there  high performance disks/pads other than stock that would be cost
effective  in the long run since I am keeping the vehicle.

Yes there are many different types of pads out there, you can choose from organics, but they are short lived, metallics, both semi and full, much better life span, then you have ceramics, full ceramic or a ceramic metallic mix, very long life span. If you decide to put any of these except the organics I would recommend replacing the rotors with a very good tempered set of drilled and slotted ones, as these pads do create a lot of heat. HTH
