2007 hyundai sonata engine turns over but wont start
Interested in suggestions on this one as I have exactly the same problem with my 07' Sonata. It showed no prior signs of issues. Mine - 4 cylinder, 56K mi, battery good, fuel cap on tight, tried tapping the starter, but to no prevail. Fuel pump fuse looks good. You may want to check some of these, but I'm at a lost and will probably need it towed.
Narrowed my issue down to a fuel delivery issue by spraying some starter fluid and it ran shortly. Checked the relay fuel pump relay by switching the horn relay which is the same part number, but didn’t help. Gave up & had it towed this morning. Dealer just called and said it is a wire connection to the fuel pump. Estimate $150-$180. Lot better than I was expecting… Good luck with yours.
Thanks for this post. I have a 2007 Sonata doing the same thing. I will check some wiring. It worked perfectly fine the last time I drove it on Thursday but when I went to start it today. Nada.
